My Graphic Design interests started more then 30 years ago in Grade 5. It was the first time I was introduced to a computer. I was exposed to the first graphic game that I would see in my life that wasn’t pong. The game was called Zany Golf, it was a mini golf game that featured a large bouncing hamburger that you needed to shoot your ball under and into the hole before it fell. This began my life long obsession with computers and probably cheeseburgers.
From that point on I was hooked on all things computers. I spent every opportunity to staying late or coming in early at school working on creating graphics and animating them.
When I finished high school I joined the Canadian Forces as a Naval Communicator in order to work with computers and have spent the last 24 years until I recently retired working in a networking environment setting up computer equipment, performing technical support, and instructing fellow sailors and solders in IT.
Throughout that time I have had a continued passion for working with graphics. When opportunities presented themselves to create for family members and friends It has been something that I’ve really enjoyed.
After completing my service. I quickly enrolled in a graphic design program with Concordia University to further develop my understanding on design principles. I am continuing to learn and look forward to helping you with your graphic design needs.
