YardStick ("the App") is designed with your privacy in mind. This policy explains what information the App handles and how.
Data Storage
All plant, yard, and maintenance data you enter into YardStick is stored locally on your device. This information is not collected, transmitted, or stored on any servers operated by Scott Brookes Designs.
Third-Party Integrations
YardStick offers optional integrations with the following third-party services, which you may connect using your own account credentials:
- Rachio — for sprinkler zone data and watering status
- Ecowitt — for local weather station data
- OpenWeatherMap — for weather forecasts and frost alerts
When you choose to connect one of these services, data is exchanged directly between the App and that service using your own credentials or API keys. Scott Brookes Designs does not have access to, and does not collect or store, this information.
Analytics & Tracking
YardStick does not use analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting services. No usage data is collected or transmitted for tracking purposes.
In-App Purchases
YardStick Pro purchases are processed entirely through Apple's App Store and StoreKit. Scott Brookes Designs does not receive or store any payment information.
Children's Privacy
YardStick is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
