Turn Your Photo Library into a Wall of Memories
Years of pictures are in your photo library, and a grid of thumbnails is a poor way to find them. SquareRoot Memories turns them into a wall you fly across. Pinch, drag, zoom and twist through photos from across the years, starting with the oldest, and stumble on moments you had forgotten.
No setup, no account
SquareRoot Memories opens straight onto your own photos, from your iPhone and iCloud Photos. You get a different random wall every time you open it, and it leans toward your oldest photos, because it is about memories. Your photos stay on your device: nothing is uploaded, and there is no account.
Touch the wall
Pan, pinch to zoom and twist to tilt the whole wall. Tap a photo and the wall cracks open to show it full screen. Pinch and drag to look closer, double-tap to zoom, or pull down and the wall closes back over it. Discover flies to a random photo and opens it for you, and the tab bar slips out of the way while you explore.
Memories Pro
Memories Pro is a one-time purchase, with no subscription. Drift mode makes the wall wander by itself after 20 seconds, and every so often a photo splits it open and fills the screen, then closes again, so you can put it on a stand and let the memories come to you. You can also search by what is in your photos, like dog, beach or red. Pictures on your device are looked at on the device itself, and nothing leaves it.
Works with the servers you already use
Connect your Immich or PhotoPrism server to bring those photos onto the same wall. SquareRoot Memories shows the photos on your own server and searches them with the server's own search. You need your server's address and an API key (Immich) or app password (PhotoPrism). Use several servers at once, or switch off the photos on your device and use only your server.
Privacy
No ads, no tracking, no analytics. Your photos are read only to draw the wall, and SquareRoot Memories never changes or deletes them.
